Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. \u2013 Our Business<\/p><p>Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. is a leading provider of Electrical Installation &amp; Testing, Renewable\u00a0<\/p><p>Technologies, Mechanical Installation &amp; Testing, Security &amp; Safety Systems, Data Services, Site Inspection\u00a0<\/p><p>Services, commercial Fitout &amp; Refurbishment.<\/p><p>Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. has its head office in Leeds, United Kingdom, employing over 14\u00a0<\/p><p>employees and operating across the United Kingdom.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>2. Our Statement on modern slavery and human trafficking.\u00a0<\/p><p>Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. is opposed to\u00a0<\/p><p>slavery, servitude, compulsory or forced labour and human trafficking (together, &#8220;Modern Slavery&#8221;) in all its\u00a0<\/p><p>forms. Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. is committed to ensuring that no Modern Slavery takes place in any\u00a0<\/p><p>part of the business which Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. controls, or within its supply chain.\u00a0<\/p><p>Our Anti-Modern Slavery Policy (\u201cthe Policy\u201d) reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in\u00a0<\/p><p>all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that\u00a0<\/p><p>Modern Slavery is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>3. Modern Slavery risk in the context of Nationwide Safety Management Ltd.\u2019 business\u00a0<\/p><p>3.1 In all jurisdictions in which Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. operates, its corporate activities are\u00a0<\/p><p>concerned with the provision of online experiences to customers and ancillary or related services. Nationwide\u00a0<\/p><p>Safety Management Ltd. typically provides those services via locally incorporated and managed companies.\u00a0<\/p><p>None of the jurisdictions in which Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. provides its services ranks highly on the\u00a0<\/p><p>Global Slavery Index. https:\/\/www.globalslaveryindex.org\/2018\/findings\/highlights\/<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>3.2 Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. does not employ any agency workers except contractors this is at peak\u00a0<\/p><p>times. workers are treated equally with our full time and part time employees.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>3.3 All employees, contractor\u2019s workers are required to adhere to the Policy. We aim to provide our staff\u00a0<\/p><p>members with guidance and actively encourage them to report slavery concerns. using our Code of Conduct\u00a0<\/p><p>and Whistleblowing Policy.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>4. Modern Slavery risk in the context of Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. Supply chain<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>4.1. Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. is committed to ensuring ethical compliance, to act with integrity in\u00a0<\/p><p>all our business relationships and to eradicate forced labour and human trafficking from within its supply chain.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>4.2. Our supply chain includes suppliers providing products on our website, professional service providers,\u00a0<\/p><p>consultants in the areas of legal, finance and marketing, utility providers, cleaning and waste management, IT\u00a0<\/p><p>equipment, office stationery supply. companies, food, and beverage for the consumption of employee\u2019s and\u00a0<\/p><p>guests. We take care to ensure that our suppliers do not fall under the high-ranking slavery index.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5. Response to Modern Slavery risks\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.1. Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. has no cause to suspect that Modern Slavery is currently present\u00a0<\/p><p>within its business or supply chain, nor any evidence that it has been present in the past.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.2. Nationwide Safety Management Ltd.:\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.2.1 has in place a Code of Conduct and whistleblowing policy which enables employees and contractors to\u00a0<\/p><p>report illegal or unethical behaviour without fear of reprisal.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.2.2 has adopted a straightforward Anti-Modern Slavery Policy, which is primarily focused on obliging\u00a0<\/p><p>employees and contractors to report Modern Slavery and what to do if it is detected in Nationwide Safety\u00a0<\/p><p>Management Ltd. business or supply chain. Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. will keep this policy under\u00a0<\/p><p>review and update it periodically in line with UK Home Office guidance.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.2.3 will ensure that responsibility for continuing compliance with the Policy rests with a senior employee of\u00a0<\/p><p>Nationwide Safety Management Ltd..<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.2.4 will ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of Modern Slavery in our supply chains and our\u00a0<\/p><p>business by providing training, where appropriate, to our staff.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.2.5 engages in regular dialogue with suppliers of services, and particularly those involving any element of\u00a0<\/p><p>outsourced labour, and will adopt a risk-based approach to evaluating the risk of Modern Slavery with regard to\u00a0<\/p><p>existing suppliers and supply chains; and\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>5.2.6 requires material suppliers of goods and services to undertake to comply with applicable laws, and where\u00a0<\/p><p>appropriate will include contractual clauses aimed at ensuring suppliers are prohibited from encouraging or\u00a0<\/p><p>engaging in Modern Slavery. Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. will require new suppliers (or, where\u00a0<\/p><p>agreements are being renewed, existing suppliers) to adhere to them, and will conduct supply chain audits and\u00a0<\/p><p>ethical due diligence on new suppliers where any material risk of Modern Slavery has been identified.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>6. Responsibility and Due Diligence<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>6.1. The Board and senior management of Nationwide Safety Management Ltd. will take responsibility for\u00a0<\/p><p>implementing this statement and provide adequate resources and investment to ensure that Modern Slavery is<\/p><p>not taking place within the business or its supply chains. We have developed a Code of Conduct through which\u00a0<\/p><p>we aim to achieve best practice. We will aim for all our supply chain to adhere to our Code of Conduct in future\u00a0<\/p><p>years.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>6.2. We will take steps to ensure due diligence.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>6.3. If we find a supplier is non-compliant with our policies or code of conduct or provides inadequate\u00a0<\/p><p>information, we will work with them to improve their performance. In cases of persistent non-compliance, we\u00a0<\/p><p>may consider terminating the business relationship as soon as possible.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>6.4. Employees who do not follow the policy will be given the opportunity to receive additional training, if their\u00a0<\/p><p>behaviour does not improve, they may face disciplinary action.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>6.5. We aim to take steps to track and report in future statements on key performance indicators to ensure that\u00a0<\/p><p>our suppliers are compliant, training our employees who will be involved in procurement process and will\u00a0<\/p><p>include results of our risk analysis exercise.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>7.
